This is because of EEPROM emulation. You can refer to this link to erase the chip. Please flash the corresponding firmware if your keyboard is not a K8 Pro.
I am able to successfully remap the keys, however, the remap resets back to the default once I unplug the cable from the machine. It does not save the changed keymaps to the device's onboard memory. Any advice?
