The keys are triggered when I’m lightly resting my fingers on them or when bumping or nudging adjacent keys while typing; the keys are way too sensitive.

Why the keys may seem sensitive:

1) The activating force for the low profile switch is lighter compared to the normal profile switch. 

2) The active distance(pre-travel) for the low profile switch is shorter than the normal profile switch. (The low profile red is 1.5mm while the normal profile is 2mm)

3) The total travel distance for the low profile switch is shorter than the normal profile switch. (The low profile red is 2.5mm while the normal profile is 4mm)
