1. Check basic connections
- Try using a different USB cable, switching to another USB port on your computer, or connecting the keyboard to a different computer.
- Please also check whether the power indicator light (if your keyboard has one) turns on.
2. Check the LED under the spacebar
Remove the spacebar keycap and check whether the red LED underneath the spacebar is lit. This helps confirm whether the keyboard is receiving power.
3. Reconnect internal cables
If the red LED does not turn on, the issue may be related to internal connections.
Please try reconnecting:
- The cable between the main PCB and the daughterboard (if your keyboard has one).
- The battery connection.
After reconnecting, plug the keyboard back in and check whether it starts working normally.
4. Check DFU mode using QMK Toolbox
If the keyboard is still unresponsive, please use QMK Toolbox to check whether the keyboard can enter DFU mode. Follow Steps 1–7 in the official guide below:
https://keychronsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/36489941127703-How-to-flash-the-keyboard-firmware-with-the-QMK-toolbox
Please also check, without pressing the reset button, whether the keyboard automatically enters DFU mode immediately after being plugged in.
If the keyboard cannot enter DFU mode, or if it automatically enters DFU mode every time it is powered on, please contact our support team.
We will provide specific troubleshooting instructions based on the keyboard.
